KioskWorks is a patient self-service solution, allowing patients to easily
check in with or without appointments. Patients can also be prompted
to begin the medical interview process by being presented with a
customized series of questions. Forms signed and completed by patients
can be automatically printed and/or securely stored in the hospital’s
database. Patients can check and update medical information.

PATIENT ID Xpress™ SYSTEM
Patient ID XPress™ system has three main components:

Data Capture Station
(Embosser Replacement) that can function
both online and offline.
- Registration areas use this device to capture data from
the same data stream used to drive Embossers.
- Capture Stations produce a master label with a PDF 417
barcode containing patient information from the data stream.

Wristband Stations
that print patient wristbands.
•
Label Stations
that print patient labels.
- Master label can be scanned by any Label Station or Wristband
Station to generate standard patient labels and wristbands.

MedicScan OCR TRUE PARSE
MedicScan OCR True Parse is a card scanner and software package, which scans Government Health & Insurance
cards, then saves both the image and the extracted textual data into a file.
MedicScan OCR True Parse with ScanShell 800R medical card scanner can automatically extract vital information
from a patient's Health or Insurance card, and can place the data into appropriate fields. In addition, the image of
the card is interactive, allowing the user to select specific fields, parts of a field, or even multiple fields together for
additional extraction.
